All About Allieanna Ballagh
I am a queer artist based out of Halifax, NS. My love for the arts; be it visual, language, movement, or music, has been ever present since a young age. I find creativity and expression to be incredibly therapeutic and my dream is to be able to share that with others not only by creating, but by becoming an Art Therapist. With this goal at the forefront of my studies at St. Thomas University, it came as a surprise to no one when I completed my degree with a Major in English and a double Minor in Psychology and Fine Arts. From small ink drawings to larger scale mixed media projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself and the way I interpret my reality.
I have been fortunate enough to have participated in many collaborative projects throughout my university career but am very driven to achieve exhibiting my art in a solo capacity to further solidify my reputation in the art world. If you would like to find out more about my process, get in touch.
